MEET YOUR GUIDE

Leanne Cairns

Certified Health Coach + Founder of Mind Body STEM

i know what it’s like to feel lost, unmotivated and desperate FOR A WAY BACK TO HEALTH + VITALITY

With over 20 years in construction, I combine firsthand experience with mental health challenges and compassion to help STEM companies creative supportive workplaces where employees thrive.

what do I do, make it clear and bold, be short and sweet

and why do I care to work with STEM people

My coaching and leader style are guided with honesty and vulnerability to inspire well-being through passions beyond work, helping individuals and companies thrive with greater purpose and fulfillment.

Start off with a statement that explains what you do to help your clients. Make it approachable and relatable.

An example might be, “I’ve spent 10 years helping women like you discover the root cause of their symptoms so they can finally feel better and enjoy the life they deserve.”

Remember that while your About page may technically be about you, it’s really about your clients — how what you do can help solve their problems and lead them to a better life. So be sure to make this clear in your copy!

My Journey to Mental Well-being as a Female Working in Construction

My mental well-being journey has been shaped by the pressures of working in a demanding, male-dominated industry. After experiencing burnout, I took time to reconnect with my passions, prioritize self-care, and explore creative outlets, which helped me regain balance.

This process not only renewed my sense of fulfillment but empowered me to show up more authentically in both my career and personal life.

Though I initially felt lost in the industry, I sought fulfillment outside of work, diving into interior design, pursuing an MBA, and launching a product line sold at Anthropologie. By day, I was a construction manager; by night, a designer. This balance helped me rediscover my passions, and eventually, I merged the skills I developed outside of work with my career, finding joy and purpose again. Navigating a male-dominated field had its challenges, but embracing my creative side empowered me to fully show up as myself in both worlds.

If you need more space, continue in the next section. You can also duplicate sections if you have more to say. Don’t worry about writing too much as long as it’s engaging and continues to focus on your potential client as the hero of the story.
